New version of Windom SV

Now it is officially, the game isn't developed by Y. Kamada, but by a group of fans. The new version is 0.85, however there is no more source about this. Four more mechs were added to the game: Millennium, Windom 2000, Vienna and the Primula. There is no development page or at least I haven't found it. The multiplayer option at its current state is uncontinued, but there is no words about the future.

As a comment said it is changed to a school-project rather than a retail game. I can't add anything to the news.

no wonder the project is as slow as modder but no problem as long as the game still exist since bandai will refuse to put their actual versus game to pc anyway.

Bandai is not interested in PC and the company website stated their will not move to PC. You're absolutely right here.

About Windom SV it is more a test than a game now. The "new" models the site links were shared in 2015, so they're putting the old program together. There is an atwiki page about SV that is accurate to version 0.83 but there are no sources about 0.85. The team works on something but I highly doubt it will be a casual game.

thats not true. technically if is a japan only game they won't bother with PC. if its international game they are most likely to put it on PC. Xenoverse and Ninja storm games are proof of this.

Games they aren't caring about. Gundam is their main product and will not ruin it with PC ports. Maybe with a co-work budget title, but not with the vs. series.

These are always fansites I guess. But considering the state of SV, maybe the developing teams updated the infos or they're helping them.

As game maybe, but some fans seemingly extend the game slowly, without any thought on share yet. I doesn't know what will happen after.

Well, I have not seen any contact information, but I'm not really interested in Windom SV so it is possible I haven't tried it hard enough. XD

Unlike in the case of Windom XP, there are no supporters and seems like only a fan group doing things with the engine. You should try to contact with them.

I can't say this for sure, but in the case of Windom XP the modability never mattered. I guess SV doesn't care about this either. They're just working a way they can use.
